[CANCELLED] Authenticiteit en de Groote Oorlog
To organize the commemoration of the Great War – and to turn people’s attention on Flanders – the Flemish Government has focused on ‘authentic’ historical sites of conflict. What are the political, economic and didactic intentions behind these meanings, and how do we question them? Historian Laurence Van Ypersele delves into these questions, looking for answers.
