Pompidou Live: Mei ’68

On her fiftieth birthday, Chantal Pattyn will collaborate with Claude Blondeel to make an extended instalment of the Klara programme Pompidou, to explore the essence of May ’68. Based in a temporary radio studio in the Kaaicafé, they will analyse the artistic, social, and political consequences of this revolutions. Geert Buelens’ book The Sixties. A Cultural History is the leitmotif of this radio marathon. Special guests will include a number of tenors who were active then and critics who are active now: Jan Blommaert, Chantal De Smet, Mia Doornaert, Paul Dujardin, Vincent Meessen, Johan Pas, Guy Poppe, Bieke Purnelle, Gerardo Salinas, Roel Van Bambost, David Van Reybrouck, Liesbet Walckiers, Chams Eddine Zaougui and Walter Zinzen. Hautekiet & Riguelle ft. Gwen Cresens on accordion will also perform!
