When constructing becomes dancing
Radouan Mriziga approaches dance from an architectural perspective. He searches for a transparent structure in which movement and narrative are distilled from constructing. For 3600 seconds, body and spirit merge in a space where the performers become both craftsman and architect. Mriziga finds inspiration in Islamic art and modern architecture, in which aesthetics and function are perfectly balanced. Discover how constructing can mean performing, and performing constructing.
• Radouan Mriziga studied at PARTS. He is artist in residence at the ‘nomadic’ arts centre Moussem.
