Youdream

theatre
10—11.12.2010

‘Because travelling through dreams seems safer these days.’

Welcome Europe! And welcome to Youdream!

Superamas' new joint production Youdream meets the public in three media: a stage performance, a forthcoming TV series and an internet platform! Log in and visit Youdream.be. While gazing into this semi-conscious European reality, you may feel the urge to upload your own dream... a recurring dream, a premonition... For some people, the Youdream platform appears to be one of the last locations where you can legally model or remodel your identity, ventilate your political frustrations or compensate for a lack of intimacy.

To give you an example, here some questions we have been confronted with in previous dreams: ‘Is Brad Pitt actually Trojan, Greek, Italian or... Turkish?’ And this sentence, written on a car in Albania: ‘We don't want no foreigners in Albania!’

Become the source and inspiration of the spectacle you are about to see! It’s quite possible that Superamas may actually pick your dream and put it live on stage.

Superamas powers safe migrations.

Youdream, Superamas create both a theatre performance and an internet platform. It is the next step in an oeuvre that playfully examines how we fictionalise reality. Last year Superamas worked on this production in Kaaitheater and presented a first version of this ambitious project. We now present the full stage version.

Focus Superamas on Friday, December 10th

On Friday, December 10th, dance critic Pieter T'Jonck (De Morgen, Klara, Etcetera,...) will guide you through the oeuvre of Superamas (talk in Dutch). Between the talk and the show we will satisfy your other appetites with soup and bread. Info & tickets >>
