Is so-called AI making us sick? - Zine Launch
You are invited to celebrate the end of so-called AI with the launch of Aïe: Ms. Authenticity Gets Sick, a zine by Lucy Perineau and Pierre Huyghebaert. This 48-page, bilingual (English/French) publication talks about how generative algorythms are making cultural workers and organisations feel sick, and proposes a few ways to feel better. For instance, come and drink CO2-captured sparkling water with us and get a free copy of the publication.
In the past few years, so-called AI have hijacked a huge share of cultural workers’ attention, especially in terms of production, collaboration, and imaginaries of the future. In this publication, the authors draw, write, and chat about emotional responses to algorythm fatigue, resources for questioning mainstream narratives, and new experiences that can help us reposition and find energy in a moving and mutating field. A zine about digesting the big emotions aroused by so-called AI, navigating towards critical literacy, and moving on.
