Bloom like a Flower - the Anger edition
Bloom like a Flower is a reflection and movement workshop where Massinda Zinga leads people back to their authentic selves and closer to their inner purpose by balancing their energies. In order to be able to exist in a world with more justice, why not reconnecting with ourselves, to whom we are, grounded and disrupting the individualistic character of society that resides around and within us? What does our Anger mean and what can we do to heal through the body? Let our Anger be the fuel of change, creativity and wisdom.
Through embodiment, dance and inner gardening, Massinda welcomes black people and people of colour to join this sacred circle.
•Massinda Zinga is an artivist who focuses on Afro-Caribbean dance and cultures as well as being the founder of the label MDF The Label. Through her artistic practice she wants to make the public reflect on the impact of the past on dance practices and on the relationships with people of Afro-Caribbean cultures. At the same time, she wants to encourage others to take action to make dance communities safer for non-white people and more reflective.
