I-On
Masterplay, the new production by Ivo Dimchev, has been postponed. Instead we shall be reviving two successful productions and an installation and we will show photos by Dimchev.
• I-on (28/11): the Austrian artist Franz West (1947-2012) asked Ivo Dimchev to make two videos for two of his ‘Adaptives’ (portable sculptures). Dimchev then asked West if he could create a live performance using these sculptures. Dimchev not only uses them, but also becomes a sculpture himself.
• P-Project (29/11): the public writes improvised poetry live, and the born performer Ivo Dimchev makes a song of it live at the piano. And the good thing is that you get generously paid for it.
• The Complex Pussy Catalogue: an art machine makes postcards by converting written language into a symbolic drawing. You make your own ‘complex pussy’ yourself using a number of words the performer gives you.
• Exhibition: photos of performances and rehearsals and personal pictures that tell us something about Dimchev as an artist.
