Record of Time

performance
01—02.03.2013

Record of Time is a dialogue between live action and life-sized projections, a performance in which the use of video would not be decorative but really play a central role. A poetic trompe l'oeil arises out of a rapid succession of movements, objects and images. The composer and director Heiner Goebbels called it a 'crescendo of the ordinary'. 'I have seen the performance several times and am overwhelmed each time.' Record of Time has been on at lots of festivals and the Süddeutsche Zeitung called it ‘an absolute highlight’.

• Alexander-Maximilian Giesche (1982) and Lea Letzel (1984) studied theatre at the University of Giessen in Germany. In 2010 they made a performance called Drei together.
