Arabanda, the Brussels band revolving around the singer Laïla Amezian and the accordion player Piet ‘Jaune Toujours’ Maris, presents us with music from the Arabic-Andalusian repertoire in a way that is fresh and innovative, due to the unconventional singing of Amezian, the characteristic sound of Maris’ accordion and the fine backing of bass, drums and wind instruments.
