At the table
Meg Stuart invites... The setting is a large-scale table where performers and audience alike are sitting as if in a conference situation. The aim is to open a space for issues of performance and improvisation in a 'skin-tight' format that pairs action with reflection. Three different performances, with each night a different cast.
The impetus for At the table was the improvisation event last autumn at the CC Maasmechelen, when Boris Charmatz, Benoît Lachambre, Meg Stuart, musician Hahn Rowe and moderator Myriam Van Imschoot used this performance set-up for the first time. At the table is Meg Stuart's first curatorial improvisation project since the Crash Landing series (1996-1999).
This programme replaces the previously announced sketches notebook.
