Palestine Stories
Une grande partie de l’équipe du Kaaitheater, des artistes avec lesquel·les nous travaillons ainsi que du public qui se rend à nos spectacles, entretiennent des liens étroits avec la Palestine et Israël, de même qu’avec des personnes qui y vivent. Tous ces individus forment la vaste communauté du Kaaitheater.
Nous observons ensemble comment la peur, la colère et la tristesse nous paralysent.
Nous amplifieront les voix d'artistes palestinien·nes et israélien·nes issu·es de cette vaste communauté du Kaaitheater à travers nos réseaux sociaux et notre site web. Nous diffuserons des récits et informations afin de contribuer à une prise de conscience.

Le 17 et 18/10, Samah Hijawi a présenté son dinner performative Holy Cow & the Pomegranate: Sumac au Kriekelaar. Elle est la première à contribuer.
Samah: "I know it can be overwhelming, depressing and debilitating when we watch the death and destruction. So here is something concrete you can do: donate to one of the organisations of Build Palestine"
Elle partage aussi le programme cinématographique Unprovoked Narratives du Palestine Film Institute. Voir ici

Framer Framed est une plateforme d'art contemporain, de culture visuelle, de théorie critique et de pratique basée à Amsterdam.
Dans son dernier podcast, Framer Framed a invité Shahd Hammouri, maître en droit à l'université du Kent. Elle explique comment les mots de l'ancien président chilien Salvador Allende ont permis à des personnes du monde entier de s'exprimer. Elle établit un lien avec la lutte palestinienne actuelle pour la libération et l'autodétermination. Écouter ici (en anglais)

The mixtape Learning Palestine _ Until Liberation, broadcasted a.o. via Radio Alhara, is a 12 hours sound program created from content downloaded from Youtube “interweaving songs, poems, music, chants, talks, discussions, presentations, and conversations by many, many singers, intellectuals, academics, researchers, musicians, students, and fighters to teach, tell, inform, and to understand the history, the present, and reality of the ongoing struggle for justice and liberation for Palestine”.
