Good to know
Waiting list
In the case of sold-out productions, a waiting list is started at the location of the show, 1 hour before the start. You must be physically present to register on the list. We are unable to guarantee you a seat, but if you come early enough, there is a good chance that you will obtain a ticket. Please pay cash.
LATECOMERS
Once the performance has started no one is admitted to the theatre.
If you leave the theatre during the show, you will not be able to return unless there is a break.
Tickets can only be refunded or exchanged if the performance is cancelled.
CHILDREN ADMITTED?
If you want to bring your children to the show, check the recommended minimum age. You are not permitted to take babies and toddlers into the show.
SCHOOLS & GROUPS
You may find all the necessary information at our schools and groups page.
PERSONS WITH REDUCED MOBILITY
Please advise us of your attendance in advance (preferably one week beforehand), and we will provide a good place and assistance if desired. The Kaaistudios and De Kriekelaar are accessible to wheelchair-users.
MOBILE PHONES, PHOTOS & RECORDINGS
Please, completely switch off your mobile device before the performance. It is forbidden to take photos or make sound or video/film recordings of performances.
Scholen & Groepen
Would you like to take your class or group to see a performance at Kaaitheater? We will be happy to help you select a customised performance, with tips, more information, an introduction, a guided tour or a meeting with the artist.
If you want a more personal explanation of our programme, we will be happy to make an individual appointment.
At Kaaitheater, we reserve 20% of our tickets for new audiences, groups and schools for up to two weeks before the performance. If a performance is sold out, there is a chance that there are still tickets available for schools or groups.

Space Rental
The distillery of the old lambic brewery L'Étoile – now Kaaistudio's – in the heart of Brussels has long acted as a laboratory for Kaaitheater and its partners, a place where makers of all generations reside, create and present.
The concert studio covers 100 m2 with an massive ceiling height of 6.7 metres and an overhead light intake. The wooden floor and brick walls gives it excellent acoustics and this space lends itself to numerous activities, from meetings to receptions and company parties. Next to the concert studio is a foyer with a bar and a terrace, which can also be rented.
