We will not be missed
We will not be missed is a dystopian audiovisual performance that explores the emotional impact of looming climate catastrophe and the collapse of future imaginaries. Inspired by Tarkovsky’s Stalker, the piece translates feelings of failure and exhaustion into a lyrical form through video, choreography, and electronic music. Its atmosphere draws on the intensity and energy of the nightclub, as a space for both resistance and refuge.
• Marijn Ottenhof is a transdisciplinary artist working across performance, choreography, video and electronic music. Her work explores how systemic crisis and collective uncertainty manifest through the body through trance, repetition and dark euphoria.
