Terra Nova
Het ‘immersieve theater’ van Crew dringt als het ware binnen in het lichaam van de toeschouwer. Hij of zij bewoont de theatrale ruimte, stapt erin rond en verdwaalt erin.
Twee thema's in Terra Nova: de Zuidpoolexpeditie begin vorige eeuw en het recente onderzoek rond het menselijk brein. Regisseurs Eric Joris en Stef De Paepe en schrijver Peter Verhelst trekken een parallel tussen de ontdekkingen omtrent de menselijke geest en de fatale zoektocht op de Zuidpool van ontdekkingsreiziger Robert Falcon Scott.
Crew neemt u mee naar het hart van deze twee onherbergzame werelden, via impressionante choreografische tableaus en een mix van visuele, auditieve en sensoriële impulsen.
