DANSAND! - editie II
Festival voor hedendaagse dans op het strand van Oostende
In 2008 verhuisde de Brusselse dansscène voor enkele zomerse dagen naar Oostende om er te dansen op het strand voor de eerste editie van Dansand!, een festival van het Oostendse kunstencentrum Vrijstaat O.
De tweede editie bouwt verder op het beproefde recept met opdrachten aan choreografen, performance-artiesten en dansers, met workshops, dansfilms, dansante interventies in de openbare ruimte, live muziek in de Venetiaanse Gaanderijen, avondvoorstellingen met zicht op zee, etc. door Christine De Smedt & Mette Edvardsen, Sidi Larbi Cherkaoui, , P.A.R.T.S., Les Slovaks, Wim Vandekeybus & Ultima Vez, Barbara Thalassatis, Thierry De Mey e.a.
Het programma werd ook nu samengesteld door Katleen Van Langendonck. Het Kaaitheater organiseert mee. Het complete programma verschijnt begin juni als bijlage bij De Morgen. Meer info op www.vrijstaat-o.be.
