Among other things, his CV mentions chief economist at the World Bank, professor at Columbia University, more than forty honorary doctorates and the Nobel Prize for economics. Come and meet the world-famous economist and thorn in the side of what he calls the ‘free market fundamentalists’. In his latest book People, Power, and Profits he describes how free market ideology has gone off the rails, how a few big companies dominate the market and how technology companies shamelessly collect personal data.
