Festival

Each edition of the annual festival MOUSSEM CITIES focuses on a different metropolis in the Middle East or North Africa. Each of these cities has a rich and culturally diverse history and they all play vital roles today thanks to their artistic dynamism. Artists from the region and in the diaspora offer insight into their cities and their work. Kaaitheater is a structural partner of the festival, and offers a stage to young generations of performing artists. After editions focused on Beirut, Casablanca and Damascus, this year a spotlight will be cast on Algiers.
