A new home
Imagine that you could be somebody else just for a moment. In HOUSE, you are invited to an unknown location. Due to the unexpected situations in which you find yourself, as a viewer you can no longer continue to observe things from the side-lines: there is no place to hide. Without any coercion but in a completely natural, surreal way, you become part of a new ‘home’. Get ready for an individual experience that will resonate long afterwards!
• Dutch artist Suze Milius’ work focuses on interpersonal behaviour in all its clumsiness and discomfort. She creates colourful universes in which she combines her love of absurdist humour with stylized aesthetics. Along with Stefan Jakiela, she runs the Brussels cultural centre House Crying Yellow Tears. HOUSE is their third production.
