Hypnotic rotation
A small crowd of people, of all types and ages, are on stage. They walk in circles in an endless orbit around an invisible centre. In our minds, each one has their own story. After half an hour it appears we have not yet seen everyone. A hypnotic rotation. Roaring from the stands. Silence. Applause from both sides! Schwalbe is looking for crowds was awarded the 2014 BNG New Theatre Maker’s Prize.
