Meyoucycle sounds like ‘musical’ in a foreign accent. Artist in residence Eleanor Bauer unites the various aspects of her work in one remarkable piece. Along with composer Chris Peck, she has blended all the ingredients of a musical into a completely new and hybrid genre. Four performers and the musicians of Ictus perform a tribute to song. The piece is about you and me and everything in between. Indeed, a me-you-cycle. Bauer presents a science fiction concert about completely normal emotions in this age of hyper-capitalism and technological progress.
