The Ghent artist Karl Van Welden places a circle of observation points on the roof of a building overlooking the Brussels canal area. The spectator looks through a telephoto lens and zooms in on details in this chaotic city panorama. The city, the performers in the distance, the spectators and passers-by become players in a game of creating distances and bridging them.
