The man who holds the 12kg bronze handkerchief, does not enact, he manifests the physical effort it takes to hold the weight and therefore encapsulates those instances when we mask our internal embarrassment by transferring the cause to the external factors such as stress, exhaustion, pain.

Miet Warlop introduceert drie theatrale vignetten. Op elegante wijze heffen fysieke acties, sculpturale props en scenografische interventies elkaar op. Aan de hand van een plastische taal, onthult elke scène de immateriële processen die in het werk kropen. Het resultaat is een live sculpturaal gebeuren, dat telkens een vluchtige fantasie op poten zet. Op het moment van hun voltooiing, verbrokkelt die echter voor je ogen.
