Dancing Bodies and the persistence of Memories
Sometimes perhaps do we find ourselves dismissing a piece of choreography we are watching because it is the sort of thing they used to do twenty / thirty / fifty years ago? What is it that intervenes to make this happen? In this presentation with structured group discussion, Fabian Barba and Ramsay Burt will raise questions about the persistence of embodied memories of past dance aesthetics.
