Kaaitheater is looking for volunteers

The new Kaaitheater building is almost here… What we know for sure: we don’t want to take this next step alone. That’s why we’re inviting enthusiastic volunteers to help shape our current activities and the future of our house. 

 

We’re hosting two info sessions for anyone curious about volunteering: 

 

  • Wednesday, February 11, from 18:30 till 20:30
  • Saturday, February 14, from 12:00 till 14:00 

Location: Kaaistudios, O.L.V. Van Vaakstraat 81, 1000 Brussels 

During these sessions, we’ll get to know each other, exchange ideas about volunteering, and provide space for conversation, meeting others, and enjoying a snack (or two). 

Registration is not mandatory, but recommended.

Who we are 

Kaaitheater is Brussels’ home for dance, theater, performance, and conversations. Since 1977, we’ve been a pioneer in innovative performing arts and a platform for both established and emerging Belgian and international artists. Inspired by the question “How To Be Many?”, we focus on participation and bringing together diverse voices, stories, and perspectives. 

Who we’re looking for 

We are looking for people with a variety of interests and talents, including: 

  • Distribution of promotional materials (flyers)
  • Representing Kaaitheater at information days (universities, colleges, etc.)
  • Logistical support (e.g., setting up and breaking down equipment)
  • Assisting with programs and performances (evening crew)
  • Participating in performances as extras
  • In the longer term: closer collaboration with the Kaaitheater team 

What we offer

We value our volunteers’ contributions deeply. During the info sessions, we’ll discuss ideas, perspectives, and how you can be part of Kaaitheater’s journey.
