Every great party deserves a proper toast. During Bye Bye Kaai, theatre maker Louis Janssens will curate The Long Toast as a way of paying tribute to the old and new Kaaitheater. Different generations of artists, politicians and partner organizations will raise their glasses and share their diverse memories. They will talk about what they once saw, played or experienced there. About the special encounters that have taken place in the building. They will also look to the future. What memories do they hope to make in the new building? What do they wish for the future?

We'll start in the café and then move into the theatre itself. Grab a glass and toast along to memories, past and future!
