See is for story Tea is for telling
A deep dive into the different possibilities of storytelling
See is for story - Tea is for telling is a focus programme curated by a community of artists, art lovers and art workers that are active in and around the artistic working and meeting place Globe Aroma.
Since September 2023, Globe Aroma has been creating a temporary community of storytellers, listeners, translators and intermediaries through workshops, performative dinners, narrative tea sessions, and other formats. After a successful first edition in December 2023, it now shares some of these practices with a congenial audience for the second time*.
The program is structured around a few themes that the temporary community works on, sometimes individually, sometimes collectively.
rereading heritage - toy stories - intimate journals - dumpling tales - sewing your story - subjective mapping - sipping a narrative - the (im)possibility of translating
*For some activities in this program, Globe Aroma's active community is given priority. For other activities, we invite a wider audience.
