Plaizier has finished its now-famous calendar. The theme of the 2019 edition is the Brussels Canal Zone. For many years, the only open waterway in the city was the border between the city centre and immigrant communities. It is now the axis of the new regional development plans. Brussels experts Eric Corijn and Sofie Vermeulen contributed to the plans by writing both a general text about the zone and for each month, a thematic story about the history, economy, culture, logistics, mobility, or art in the area.
