Everything you ever wanted to know about the canal zone
Platform Kanal was set up a year and a half ago. It is a network comprising many of the zone’s actors. Its aim is to think about and work on an overall, integrated vision for the development of the Brussels canal zone. In recent years various studies have been carried out and published in which the area is analysed from a social, cultural, demographic, economic and urban planning point of view. It will undoubtedly be a major driving force in the imminent Regional Plan for (Sustainable) Development. At the information session on 2 April we would like to present all this in a clear and concise way to every possible stakeholder and interested party. The urban research group from the VUB and La Cambre school of architecture will provide the presentations.
