Verhelst XL is an attempt to make theatre that ‘creates peaceful surroundings’. Places where you can think, grieve, enjoy, look around at leisure. Places for new rituals. Author and director Peter Verhelst and letter sculptor Maud Bekaert worked on this in the QNX project (Bruges) together with artists such as Johan Tahon, Dirk Braeckman, Cristina Iglesias, Lili Dujourie and Helmut Stallaerts.
