RHOMBOIDE - a live media performance
Entirely new
On the exact day of the centenary of publication of the Futurist Manifesto in Le Figaro, the director and multimedia artist Claudio Sinatti and the composer Black Fanfare/Demetrio Castellucci are presenting a project based on the poetics of Futurism – the glorification of speed, movement, action, colour and sound, etc. – to create something entirely new, not to revive Futurism but to come up with a new conception of it. The live-media performance will combine electronic tracks with animated images; the heart of the performance will be action and colour. It will use present-day idioms and media to look at the hundred-year-old aesthetics of Futurism.
