Following Otaku – the first comedy show ever to be selected for the Theatre Festival! – Joost Vandecasteele returns with a comedy show that questions both comedy and show. Something different, in other words. Something between the political and the personal, the perverse and the porous. A performance about the period between the elections and Flemish emancipation, a one man thing about a man and things.

•  His three visionary books about the state of our world (Hoe de wereld perfect functioneert zonder mij, Opnieuw en opnieuw en opnieuw and Massa) yielded Joost Vandecasteele a debut prize and several nominations. He appeared on the long-list for the Libris Literature Award (2013) and the shortlist of the BNG Literature Prize (2010 and 2012). He is currently working on Vel, an uncompromising and physical novel set at the heart of the inflamed debate on men and women. Vandecasteele writes columns for De Standaard newspaper. Last season he created the acclaimed production Sorry voor alles for Bronks together with Joris Van den Brande.
