21C / Retool Earth
Ten evenings on the continued existence of the earth: a wondrous combination of performing arts, mathematics, biology, demography, live radio & online media
Climate change, population explosion, migration, urbanisation, global violence and the redistribution of wealth are high on the agenda... The continued existence of the earth and human civilisation depend on finding the right solutions.
As part of a research project on the future, artists, thinkers, doers and students are throwing themselves into the challenge. 21C / Retool Earth, in a series of ten evenings open to the public spread over two theatre seasons, is intended to help stimulate thinking on a livable future. Prepare yourself for a wondrous combination of performing arts, mathematics, biology and demography, tastefully seasoned with a good pinch of live radio and online media.
First dates: 11 December, 22 January, 5 March and during the Kunstenfestivaldesarts in May.
