Un-Home / Moving Stones - Momentum #3
Filip Berte’s current project focuses on the mechanism of inclusion and exclusion of uninvited newcomers in Western society. With the use of a camera obscura and a hidden digital camera, he installed a critical ‘moment of auto-reflection’ in several asylum centers. During Performatik he initiates a new phase of the project in an asylum center in Brussels.
• Architect and visual artist Filip Berte is known for his project Eutopia, in which he screened Europe as political entity by shaping it into a house in which every room reflected a different facet of the continent.
Workspacebrussels is a workspace for live arts in their most diverse forms. During Performatik17 they unleash a series of public interventions that might change the way you look at things.
