nowhere
‘A kind of pagan chapel where life and music can become one.’ That’s how pianist and conductor Marino Formenti describes his project Nowhere. For twelve days he retreats into the Zsenne art lab, an artistic haven near the place du Jardin aux Fleurs in the centre of Brussels. He lives and sleeps, eats and plays there the whole day, while music and silence alternate, and time and space flow into one. Playing a repertoire of Erik Satie, Brian Eno, John Cage, Morton Feldman, Jean-Henri d’Anglebert, Gaspard le Roux en anderen, from baroque to contemporary, Formenti ‘disappears’ into the music. You can witness it, whenever you like, between 10 a.m. and 10 p.m. at ZSenne art lab, and 24/7 via live streaming.
