Tomorrow's Parties

theatre
28—31.03.2012

In this deceptively simple piece, two performers stand on a makeshift stage wreathed in coloured lights and hypothesise about the future. As they conjure up a series of tomorrows - some bleak, some fantastical, some comic, some unthinkable - the mood shifts between hope, despair and whimsy.
Tomorrow’s Parties is Forced Entertainment in intimate and comical mode - a playful, poignant and at times delirious look forwards to futures both possible and impossible.

• For quarter of a century, Forced Entertainment have been confirming their position as trailblazers in contemporary theatre. Their work is distinctive and provocative, delighting in disrupting the conventions of theatre and the expectations of audiences.
