Pororoca
Lia Rodrigues is een sleutelfiguur in de hedendaagse dans in Brazilië. De voorbije jaren werkte ze met de bewoners van de favela’s van Rio, waar ze een centrum voor artistieke vorming en creatie oprichtte. Pororoca onderzoekt het begrip ‘gemeenschap’. Hoe creëren we een gemeenschappelijke grond en harmonie binnen de chaos? In deze overweldigend fysieke voorstelling ontstonden de bewegingen van de elf dansers al improviserend, vrij en sensueel, maar ze evolueren met een geladen, haast obsessieve precisie.
