"We blazen 25 kaarsen uit in het Kaaitheater. Met veel kracht en animo bezingen we onze liefde voor adem en wind. In een onuitgegeven versie van Michael Schmids BreathCore wordt Ictus herboren als een pneumatisch koor, in een polyfonie van lucht. Sylvie Mélis (die je misschien aan het werk zag met o.a. Rodrigo García, Tiago Rodrigues en Maud Le Pladec) ontwerpt de lichtchoreografie."

• Het Brusselse hedendaagse muziekensemble Ictus is al jaren vaste gast in het Kaaitheater. Dit jaar viert het ensemble zijn 25e verjaardag. Michael Schmid toonde in 2017 al eens een Breathcore in de Kaaistudio’s, tijdens IN/FINITY.
