Act for Japan is een groep Japanse kunstenaars in België. Ze proberen hun krachten te bundelen en actie te ondernemen om de slachtoffers te steunen van de 311 tsunami en de kernramp in Fukushima.

In de Kaaistudio’s organiseren ze een benefietavond waarop twee filmdocumentaires worden vertoond:

• 17:00 Ashes to Honey (2010) van de Japanse regisseur Hitomi Kamanaka - bekijk trailer

• 20:30 Stories from Fukushima van de Belgische filmmaker Alain de Halleux (2012)
Minamisoma, 20 KMS from Fukushima. 3 families wonder if they must leave. Their Samurai festival shows the huge past of the city which has maybe no future...
