431 initiated WTC A Love Story from an interest in filmmaking as an architectural tool. The day after the avant-premiere, you can attend two follow-up workshops exploring alternative forms of space-making which emerged out of the production process.
10:00 > 13:00 Workshop 1: A coalition of social actors in the Northern Quarter?
The heterogeneous group of social and activist actors from the Northern District come together to reflect upon the plausibility of a structured and collective representation of their actions in the form of a coalition towards policy. This is a closed workshop.
16:00 > 18:00 Workshop 2: Permanent
How to fight the gentrifying and exploitative tendencies of temporary occupation? The collective Permanent proposes strategies for permanently affordable (work)spaces for artists, in combination with other precarious groups, through models of anti-speculative ownership. How can artists reclaim agency to shape a more solidary city?
