Elastic Habitat
Où le corps prend fin et l’identité commence
Elastic Habitat est une installation immersive – une sorte d’aire de jeu – qui invite à analyser, à toucher ou même à porter des sculptures en textile. Helena Dietrich a conçu des formes en textile avec Janneke Raaphorst sur base de sessions individuelles avec différents invités. Durant ces entretiens, elles ont étudié la perception personnelle de leur propre corps. La personnalité coïncide-t-elle avec ce corps et tout ce qui l’environne ? Et si on en modifie certaines choses, change-t-on aussi ? On se glisse littéralement dans la peau d’un corps imaginaire et on se voit ainsi offrir le temps d’explorer sa propre identité de manière impartiale, sensorielle et intuitive.
• La créatrice allemande et artiste de la performance Helena Dietrich analyse l’importance du symbolisme dans notre esthétique et la façon dont celle-ci s’est ancrée dans notre identité. Elle vit depuis quatre ans à Bruxelles et a suivi le parcours de recherche à A.Pass.
