Muntpunt
Tue 09.10 - Sat 13.10.18

The live video installation Instant Fiction films everyday situations in public places, following the principles of security systems. The difference is that this footage is supplied with subtitles in real time, taken from the scripts of a wide range of different films. Contemporary reality thus transforms into a set with actors who are completely unaware.

Strange figures in camouflage suits dwell through the urban space. Inspired by female shamanic practices, they shift from being a part of your surrounding to an autonomous, physical body.

Worktable is an invitation to destroy everyday objects. Armed with a pair of safety glasses and a range of tools, you can brutally hack to pieces or gently dismantle everyday objects.  There is no question of rubbish: further instructions, other spaces and other actions follow. There’s work to be done!
