Mette Ingvartsen has created a series of four performances in which the question of ‘non-human actions’ in a choreography plays a central role. In The Artificial Nature Project the stage is filled with all kinds of objects and materials, set into motion by the dancers who are part of a swirling mass; a mass of objects that seem to be alive but are not human.

In Mette Ingvartsen's new creation both human and non-human performers appear on stage. Things fly through the air and create a constantly changing landscape.  A whirlwind of images roars past, sometimes with catastrophic effects. A vibrant landscape of dead things coming alive.

Kate McIntosh is already known for performances such as Dark Matter and Hair from the Throat, evidence of a rich, somewhat bizarre imagination and superior craftsmanship. In Untried Untested,
she once again goes hard at it. The performers test various materials
and each other and so find themselves in situations that are often
funny, frequently unexpected and sometimes downright dangerous.
