Read the Room is the kick-off of a biennial collaboration between Mophradat and Kaaitheater. For three days you are invited for a programme around 'the mother'. On the first day of the festival, you can see the work of Mary Jirmanus Saba, Noor Abed, and Bint Mbareth.

Paying tribute to the Moroccan sociologist Fatima Mernissi, Iman Humaydan and Rosa Yassin Hassan will read from their own work and talk about their authorship against the background of revolution, censorship, and their shifting social positions.
