During a two day event, a.pass welcomes a gathering of researchers, artists, a.pass program participants and public to engage with the struggle of being an artist commoner today, and the role of (educational) institutions in bringing this subject about. Two days of presentations, exchanges and commoning practices. Two days of ateliers, books launches, performances, workshops and discussions.

Once every three years students can enter the renewed PARTS Training Cycle. The first group started in 2013. They are closing their cycle with a creation of their own as well as new pieces,  directed by experienced choreographers. It was on 4th September 1995 that PARTS, the Brussels dance school headed by Anne Teresa De Keersmaeker, opened for its first generation of dance students. The book "20 years - 50 Portraits" will be presented at the Kaaistudios.

Cinemaximiliaan is a cinema for people on the move. The project started spontaneously in the refugee camp in the Maximilian Park, where daily film screenings provided a welcome distraction. The volunteers of Cinemaximiliaan have encountered dozens of newcomers with artistic talent. This evening features work by three of these people.
