Recycle ton futur
How do you create a local market? How can you bring together local knowledge and production and make it available? And what if we were to strive for zero waste? These and other questions are the starting point for Einat Tuchman’s exploration entitled marche ou plus. Along with a group of young people from the Molenbeek sports club EmanciPower, she is initiating a long-term project to develop new forms of local and ecological production focused on themes like fashion, sports, food, and plants. During this evening, the young people are taking the lead by asking questions of experts that they have invited, as a way of familiarizing themselves with the theme. You will be surprised and inspired!
• Artist Einat Tuchman has lived and worked in the Maritime quarter of Molenbeek for several years. After having launched several local projects there, she felt the need to create a broader framework to bring together various projects, local initiatives and organizations. During WoWmen!20, she presented Other Enter at the Molenbeek community centre Espacetous, and she also performed in Orla Barry’s monologue Spin, Spin, Scheherazade.
