PONI IN CONCERT
Poni is a multidisciplinary collective group with musicians, dancers and performers from New Zealand, Island, Canada, Germany and Belgium. They like to take on new identities, just like actors, except that, with Poni, the process seems more intense. New identities are no sooner established than they are cancelled out, each language interfering with another one, be they spoken or played. The final result on stage is a veritable performance rock, carried essentially by two major figures of contemporary performing arts, two atomic show girls, Kate McIntosh from New Zealand and Erna Omarsdottir from Island.
