The publication Kan de stad de wereld redden? (Can the city save the world?) collects texts of Eric Corijn. The social scientist and cultural philosopher is an atypical academic. Philosophy of science, leisure studies, psychoanalysis, culture and community building to debates on nationalism and populism are but a few of the topics studied. Urbanity has become the central focus of his thinking and action. The book gives an insight into the development of his thoughts, visions and concepts.  
 
On the occasion of this publication, we are organising a debate with Eric Corijn and Stijn Oosterlynck and Benoit Moritz. These last two have both written reflections in the book on concrete projects they have realised with Eric Corijn.
