Act for Japan.be is a group of Japanese artists in Belgium, trying to unite their efforts and act to support the victims of the 311 tsunami and Fukushima disaster in their home country.

At the Kaaistudio’s, they’re organising a benefit event with screenings of two documentary films:

• 17:00 Ashes to Honey (2010) by Japanese film maker Hitomi Kamanaka - watch trailer

• 20:30 Stories from Fukushima (2012) by Belgian film maker Alain de Halleux
Minamisoma, 20 KMS from Fukushima. 3 families wonder if they must leave. Their Samurai festival shows the huge past of the city which has maybe no future...
