The movements of three religions

Each religion has ritual movement. Centuries ago believers knew their spiritual purpose, but nowadays these gestures have often become automatic and meaningless. The Bouillon Group’s aim is to understand the movements of three religions: Islam, Christianity and Judaism – the three dominant religions in Georgia.

• The Bouillon Group artists’ collective was founded in Tbilisi in 2008. The group often works in public space and is inspired by non-artistic social situations. In 2014 they co-realised the Georgian pavilion at the Venice Architecture Biennale.
